Psalm 91 Receiving the blessings of the Lord The reward for surrendering our lives to the Lord Protecting our God




9 Because thou hast made the Lord your refuge, the Most High your habitation, 10 no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come near your tent. 11 For he shall give his angels charge concerning thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest you dash a stone. 13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; trample underfoot the lion and the serpent. 14 Thus have they loved me, I will deliver him to put him up on high, because he knows my name. 15 When he calls on Me I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble, rescue him and honor him. 16 With length of days fed him up, and show him my salvation.

Psalm 91: 9 -16

When, with a sincere heart, we give our lives in the hands of our God and Father we made the most excellent thing we could do in our lives. So much for that time and for eternity.

All the blessings we receive from our Great God is wonderful and divine, but we note that there are some that are very impressive and touching in an extraordinary way our hearts.

We could start by looking at how good it is receiving from the Lord to protect him against disease and pests in the world, which would be something very good or perhaps even delighting us with the promise of the sublime and angelic presence of the angel of the Lord, who pitched around us, guards us and protects us from the dangers of this life.

On the other hand might feel very flattered that our God gave us the extraordinary power that is in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we step out demons and evil spirits who act in this world of sin.

Some people might look at other blessings and promises concerning prosperity and material goods, but I think the best blessings we receive from God are precisely those that give us the power to invoke and rely upon the presence and salvation of our God Almighty. How wonderful!

Beautiful that this is our God who is rich in Love and Mercy! Glory to God!

But who are we miserable sinners so that we receive from our God and Father, such an honor that is when we need when we get through times of great difficulty or distress that we can rely on who?

President Obama? The super-man? Our Doctor? A judge? Pastor? Our psychologist? Our lawyer? Father? Our mother?

No! None of these!

For when we deliver to our lives in the hands of our Almighty Father, we receive from Him the privilege of being able to invoke the Holy Name and the presence of our God of Love. Plus, to top it off just because we can invoke the Holy Name of the Lord will receive him still:

The answer to our prayers; The company him on our side. Is not it beautiful? Imagine being on our side not a divine angel, but God himself caring and watching over us; The deliverance for all difficult situations and impossible to go through during our lives and yet we receive from our loving God to honor and abide by His side of the Lord Jesus Christ forever.
