But know this, that in the last days perilous times; 2 For men shall be lovers of themselves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderers, incontinent, fierce, haters of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;

2 Timothy 3: 1-4

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. - Matthew 24: 12-13

We live in a time very complicated. The Word of God guides us wisely about what is happening now and unfortunately, what will happen in the future.

Men and women will increasingly be lovers of themselves, selfish, vain, greedy, ungrateful and cruel. People only seek their own pleasure. Gratitude, respect, loyalty, character and love for others will be in the background.

In the name of freedom and individuality of each, all seek only that which can give them pleasure. Thus, in the hearts of men and women love grow cold and they will walk away and forget all the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.

9 Yea, mine own familiar friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. - Psalm 41:9

Psalm 55: 12-14

Today you may be suffering because of the betrayal that you received from a friend, a co-worker, family member or, what is more painful still, the betrayal that comes from a hiking companion and soul. The betrayal that comes from that person who so loved.

It is not easy to live with the huge pain of betrayal. It is not easy to understand why that person who was trusted both capable of doing something so despicable. Very indignantly ask: How can such a person throw away the great confidence and great love that we maintain it?

28 Come unto me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will refresh you. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. - Matthew 11:28 to 30

3 Do not be embarrassed any of that wait on thee be ashamed who treacherously without cause. 4 Shew me thy ways, O Lord, teach me your paths. 5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation, I hope for you all day .- Psalm 25: 3-5

Only the mercy and grace of our God of Love are able to bring some light and comfort in the face of such darkness, pain and suffering that is broken in our souls before the great confusion of feelings. So we should leave the loving arms of our God, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

Only the Trinity can give us the support and encouragement needed to endure with equanimity this phase of our lives so difficult. We should not despair in the face of such events.

Even though everything seems lost and hopeless we should never lose heart. We can not let our hearts be flooded by torrents of hurt and resentment. This is the time to stop and cry to our God that He, the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, give us peace, serenity and wisdom to know exactly what to do in the face of such disappointment and suffering.

We can not never forget that the Lord Jesus Christ is always by our side. We call and cry for him, we must meditate on His life. So he will be visiting our hearts and give us the strength and courage so that we can move forward without a murmur, nor curse anyone.
