Who are you serving? Who are we serving? Your reward is separate

24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You can not serve God and mammon. - Matthew 6:24

With sincerity, we should ask:
Who are we serving? We are serving the Almighty God of life or death defeated you? So we can have a clear idea about this important aspect of our lives we can begin with a brief assessment of how and with what we are spending our time, our money and mostly what we carried in our hearts.
What are we watching? Novels? What kind of movies? What are we reading? Books? What kind of magazines? We're reading the Bible? Where we are applying our time? We glorify our God with our time? As we are spending our money? We are returning the tithe of the Lord? We are spending in the bars? With drinks? In what are we thinking? In God? On how to earn more money? In the next wife or husband or next?

So we can have a better idea let's make a small separation between the works of each one of you:

The works of the Lord of Life are:

Communion with God the Father, love of neighbor, abundant life, peace at home and at work, and more virtues virtues lead a holy life and friendship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

The works of the Lord of death are:

Lies, prostitution, adultery, infidelity and the Lord, turning away from God, selfishness, anger, envy, jealousy, greed, sloth, theft, hatred, unbridled pursuit of money (idolatry), sex life away from God's plan, masturbation, pornography, addictions, alcohol, tobacco, gambling, slander, gossip ...

4 You adulterous people, do not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. - James 4: 4

That's why we have the courage to evaluate our lives and then we make a very important decision: who we really want as our true friend? Who we truly want to serve? God has given us the freedom to choose what we can be our best friend, the Lord of Life or the lord of the world.

God gave us free will so that we can choose:

Will we choose to be with Him who redeemed us and cleansed us of our old life of sin and the terrible world of darkness, using it for their own blood and his own life? We will stand even if the Great One who became small and powerful and despicable that in his humiliation and suffering we could again have our friendship with God and our Father and our eternal life?

Or do we choose to stand with those who, out of envy and every kind of evil sense, wants to destroy everything and everyone?

The choice is ours. We have the power to choose our happiness and our destruction. Many people attribute to God the Father only depends on what our decisions.

Be 37 But let your speech: Yes, yes, no, no, because what is there, is of evil. Matthew 5:37
Whoever has the Son has life: he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. - 1 John 5:12

39 You search the Scriptures because you think you have eternal life, and these are they which testify of me: - John 5:39

We read the Bible daily. Many do not like to read the Word of God because they find it very difficult to understand what is written in this book so blessed.

The Bible is simple. Contrary to what many think, it is not difficult to understand, that, of course, there is no merit to privileged mind, but unique gift of God that He gives those who fear him and wholeheartedly seek to live by His side .

The Holy Spirit of God opens the understanding of the scriptures. If we have some kind of trouble understanding the Bible we should pray to our God, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit that they reveal to us the wonderful mysteries and teachings that are contained in the Holy Word of God.

We should not discourage the reading of the Bible. Sometimes people feel a little bit of sleep, begins to yawn, even so we should not bother us. That's just the enemy that we do not want to have access to truth and freedom there is in life-giving Word of God. When this happens we must persevere, endure and move on, because the Word of God says:

Submit yourselves therefore to God Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4: 7

That's what we always do: resist, and insist on praying. If sleep is too strong then we sleep. When we wake up with more ease and clarity, surely we can continue our reading of a more fruitful. It is important not to give up and always persevere. For it is the Word of God that we we will meet the Lord Jesus Christ and all the benefits it offers to those who walk with Him in the great journey toward eternal life.

12 Behold, I come quickly and my reward is with me, to give every man according to his work. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the first and last, the beginning and the end. 14 Blessed are those who wash their clothes [in the blood of the Lamb] to have right to the tree of life, and may enter the city through the gates. 15 Outside are the dogs, and sorcerers, adulterers, murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. - Revelation 22:12 to 15

But he who endures to the end shall be saved. Matthew 24:13
