Jesus came to save what was lost - gospel messages of God's Word

Jesus came to save those who were lost Climb up the fig tree Do like Zacchaeus Meeting with Jesus. New life.

1 And Jesus entered Jericho, was passing through town. 2 There was a man named Zacchaeus, who was chief among the publicans, and he was rich. 3 he sought to see who Jesus was, and could not, because of the crowd, because he was short in stature. 4 And he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree to see him, he was to pass by. 5 When Jesus reached the spot, looked up and said to him, Zacchaeus, make haste, for to day I must abide at thy house. 6 Down, therefore, in haste, and received him with joy. 7 When they saw it, they all murmured, saying, gone to be guest of a sinner. 8 Zacchaeus, however, arose and said to the Lord: Behold, Lord, give to the poor half of my possessions, and if in anything I have defrauded anyone, I restore him fourfold. 9 Jesus said to him: Today is salvation come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and save what was lost.

Luke 19:1 to 10

The word of God is telling us that Zacchaeus was not only a successful professional man. As you can see he was the chief tax collector. He played a leadership position and leadership. Zacchaeus was a rich man.

How interesting!

Usually only the wealthy believe in themselves. Do not believe in God and do not know of a church. There are some who even say that this business of religion is something of poor, frustrated and failed to achieve nothing in life end up sinking in dreams, delusions and illusions of religion.

The rich are usually found in their mansions, palaces, farms, beach houses, cottages. Their life is often busy. We can find them bells meetings, parties or celebrations ever held in environments much luxury, beauty, beautiful people and fragrant. In such environments usually never miss a table laden with food and plenty of excellent food and drink for the first line.

Strange!

What would be making a rich man uproar among that great crowd. At the popular crowd. He was being squeezed by one, pushed by others. Receiving elbows, and even then, due to their small stature and the difficulty of the moment, he was not able to reach your goal.

After all, what their goals were insistent that this man wanted to achieve?

Significantly increasing their fortune? Buy more properties? Buy more animals? Buy more gold?

Let's see what the big goal that the man had in his heart.

3 he sought to see who Jesus was, Luke 19:3

Ah! Now we know what that rich man was doing there.

He wanted to see Jesus!

How strange! Why is it that rich man was not in his palace in his country house, living on his farm the best of everything, enjoying everything that your money would you offer?

The fact is that little man wanted to see the Great Lord of Nazareth. And there was not any curiosity. It was a great that will make the man leave the people running the front so he could go ahead and secure your place on top of a fig tree.

It's still very weird!

A rich man running down the street with the people vying for a place upon a fig tree just to see the simple man of Nazareth. Very strange!. This definitely is not something common.

The fact is that Zacchaeus was not there by chance and not by simple curiosity. He was there because the Almighty God had already called. Had already rescued.

63 It is the spirit that quickens, the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you are spirit and life. 64 But some of you who do not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who was what had to deliver. 65 He continued: So you said no one can come to Me unless the Father had not been granted. John 6:63 to 65

Our God heard the cry coming from the heart of Zacchaeus. Though he was rich, he was unhappy. Zacchaeus felt empty and unsatisfied with the material and the life he was leading. Otherwise it would not be there in the midst of people. He would not be there to see the passage of a humble figure as was the person of Jesus Christ. He was there by the Holy Spirit inspired and led by God.

It was by God's mercy that Zacchaeus went to the loving arms of our Redeemer and Savior. No one may want to see our Lord Jesus Christ is our God and Father did not lead to the true path of salvation and eternal life.

That's what that home was there rich. That was why he was making it impossible to meet the Lord Jesus Christ. This was the reason that brought up the fig tree.

The Word of God guides us:

For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and he who knocks, the door to him will. Matthew 7:8

Zacchaeus asked. Zacchaeus sought and the slices of salvation is opened to him. As the Lord Jesus Christ came He called that anxious man. At that moment everything went as stated in the Word of God:

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me, and whoever comes to Me I will in no wise cast out. John 6:37

Jesus did not look at our sins. Jesus is always ready to forgive us. Jesus does not reject anyone who wholeheartedly repent and seek Him to be your true path to freedom, to peace, love and eternal life.

As the heart of that rich man and sinner, just as we are all sinners, was completely transformed by our God he took it one bit. As soon as he heard the call of the Savior and deliverer he ran down and filled with joy, took the Lord Jesus Christ for the interior of his house.

Zacchaeus was a rich man, but was unhappy, empty, unhappy and lost. From the day he had a personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ opened his eyes and he can see what is really important in human life. He understood that what was important was not only his money, his possessions, positions or any other type of material he had, and yes, God's presence in his life and love among people.

Therefore the Lord Jesus said:

Today is salvation come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and save what was lost.

Luke 19:9 to 10

On that day Zacchaeus had a personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ and, as always happens when the man has a true encounter with the Lord of Lords, our God of Love, there is no man remains the same as before. Everything is new!

And that's exactly what happened in the life of Zacchaeus.
