Do not lose hope - gospel messages of God's Word

Do not lose hope Aquent firm help is near Hold on a little longer Always Persist Do not be discouraged never 1 Kings 17

9 Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there: behold I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee. 10 He stood up then and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, there was a widow woman gathering sticks, he called and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a pot a little water, to drink. 11 When she would get it, he called and said, Bring me a morsel of bread with you. 12 But she said the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but a handful of flour in the bowl, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, prepare to go it for me and my son, so that we may eat it and die. 13 Elijah said to her, Fear not: go and do as you say, but first do this to me a little cake and bring it to me here, and after make for thee and for thy son. 14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel: The pot of meal shall not waste, and the cruse of oil did not fail, until the day that the Lord sends rain upon the earth. 15 She went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and so they ate it, and she and her household, for many days. 16 The jar of meal was not over, and the cruse of oil did not fail, as the word of the LORD which he spake by Elijah.
1 Kings 17:9 to 16
That land, lack of water was punishing even the hope of all people. Certainly, the woman of Zarephath had cried out to God again and again asking for help and deliverance from Him.
As much as God's solutions to linger, it has a reason to be. These reasons do not concern us but to our God Almighty. But one thing is certain: no matter the seriousness of the situation and even the impossible, on God's deliverance and salvation will not fail to arrive. Just believe it.
This was the desperate situation of the woman. She was waiting, the providence of God and how God's help was late to reach the woman had already discouraged and when the prophet Elijah wounds there it was completely hopeless to receive the salvation of our God and the help requested. All of this difficult situation we can see by looking at what happened in the arrival of the prophet Elijah, and also later when he asked the woman to serve him a little water and a loaf of bread.
As the woman had only a very small amount of flour she said to the Prophet that he was just preparing for her last meal of her and her son and after that they would prepare for the inevitable death.
However, the designs and words of God are not empty words and promises and projects nor human. If God speaks to us in our hearts that He will do something, this thing will certainly happen in our lives. Do not worry. He will hold. We must never doubt the promises of God that He will act at the right time. He will deliver us. He will save us and He will put us on high and safe next to him.
We do not know what God said to the woman. We only know that the Lord spoke to her:
Behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee. 1 Kings 17:1
If God spoke to the woman, God said, this indicates that the woman spoke with him also.
When he calls on Me I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble, rescue him and honor him. Psalm 91:15
12 And call upon Me and go on and pray to me, and I will hear you. 13 Ye shall seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found of you, saith the Lord - Jeremiah 29:12 to 14

Here's the difference to that of the believer who does not believe. The believer even powerless and discouraged he never loses his faith in God. He never stops believing that our God is faithful and true. He believes until the last minute. It does not erase the candle still smokes nor break the bruised reed. He never gives up seeking his blessing. He hears the Word of God. The Word of God enters your heart. It obeys the Word of God and God does the miracle in his life.
14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel: The pot of meal shall not waste, and the cruse of oil did not fail, until the day that the Lord sends rain upon the earth. - 1 Kings 17:14
The woman even discouraged, weak and hopeless, he heard the word of God and man took an attitude of faith. Went and did according to the word of the prophet. What was the result of obedience to it? She and her house was blessed. This is the reward for those who faithfully obey the blessed Word of our God.
This wonderful passage we can conclude that the Prophet Elijah was the right help that our God sent on time. Let's imagine that the prophet Elijah had been there about thirty days before the date he passed. Certainly, as the prophet Elijah, sent to Lord's anointed, he would have given a way to ensure that the woman and her son were well, with many foods.
Let's imagine that, after providing the help of God to them, the prophet Elijah to go ahead in its path.
We can ask ourselves:
After a few days after the departure of the prophet Elijah who would have raised the son of that lady?
Our God is tremendously powerful!
That is why we must always trust and hope in our Lord and God. The Lord Jesus Christ spoke, He will do. We must have faith and perseverance in the promises of our God. Our God will do all His promises in our lives. Although the leave unfulfilled promises in our time, especially since our time is the day yesterday, there will certainly leave them in His time. Everything is done in the time of our God, of course, will always be the best for us.

Amen and Thank God.
