The first word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying: 2 Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there you will hear my words. 3 Down, for the potter's house, and behold, he was busy with his work on the wheels. 4 And the vessel he was making of clay was marred in the potter's hand, has to do it again another vessel, as seemed good to your eyes do. 5 came to me the word of the Lord, saying: 6, can not I do with you as this potter, house of Israel? saith the Lord. While this word is quite simple it is also very interesting and full of infinite wisdom of our God and Creator. The potter is our God and Father and we are the humble clay. Who's in charge on the clay is the potter. It should conform to the Creator the creature and call it for it to be used for this or that. Therefore, the clay is just a raw material in the hands of the Sovereign Creator. It's up to him, as the clay is available, make a vase, a container for the honor or dishonor. It basically depends on His will and raw material available.

As our Great Potter is the supreme artist of the universe He is not an artist either. Everything He does, He does for the honor and glory to Him. So He does nothing imperfect. It handles all that and everything that he has dreams he wants to always do with excellence and perfection. Why then there are vessels of honor and vessels of dishonor?

The Great Entertainer of the universe is in control of everything and he always move the clay with much affection, love, skill and wisdom. However, some characteristics of clay significantly interfere in the process of modeling and transformation.

If the clay is a very hard material and rebellious it can not be manipulated as the primary intention of the potter, the clay is filled with all sorts of impurities inevitably it can not give a good league and you can not do a fine large vessel. At a later stage, if the clay is not firm, if it does not bond well, consistent quality and it will not withstand the heat of the oven. Depending on the clay, the great Author of Life can do a lot of each vessel to be used in honor or a vessel of less value that will be used for less honorable work.

When the clay is malleable, soft, pure and intact it is easily modelável. With an excellent quality clay Grand Master Potter can use all his talent and skill to make this mud is easily transformed into a beautiful vase of great honor and value. Finally! Everything goes according to the Grand Master always dreamed of.

In the hands of our Lord Jesus Christ, the God of Love we must all appear as the most pure clay, complete, without resistance, obedient, clean and ready to be shaped by our Great Creator. To our God and Father, we will always be a clay transformation. Everything depends on the quality of clay that we present to our God can model. Before our Lord Jesus Christ, the more our quality clay has more honor, value and usefulness will have our vessel.
