How to face life's difficulties - gospel messages of God's Word

Will I have trouble How to understand and address problems and tribulations of life How to face life's difficulties True peace can only be found in Jesus

I have told you these things, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer I have overcome the world. - John 16:33

The Lord Jesus Christ is telling us that we will have tribulation in this world. Otherwise, he is telling us that we will have problems. Having trouble is having trouble, adversity, distress and lack of peace.

Interesting!

The world, including some church people, insist on wanting to teach us something contrary to what the Word of God is telling us. The Lord Jesus Christ did not say that we would have a quiet life, routine, gentle and full of tranquility. He said just the opposite.

In other words the Lord Jesus Christ is telling us that:

We will have problems in our family, our husband, wife and children; We will have problems in our work with colleagues and superiors; We will have problems in school; We will have problems in our life; We will have problems in our health; We will have problems in our relationships; We will have problems in traffic; We will have problems in our financial life; We will have problems even in our churches;

At the same time that our Lord leaves us this important revelation He also lets us escape and consolation so that we can overcome all these problems:

In me ye might have peace - John 16:33

But be of good cheer I have overcome the world. - John 16:33

When we experience any problems or difficulty where we get the rest and relief from our troubles?

At the mall? At a friend's house? In a chat with a coworker? In a self-help book? In a film? On television?

No!

The much-desired peace and comfort for the relief of our distress and anguish can only come from a place:

Why are you downcast, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise him, who is my Savior and my God. - Psalm 43:5

My help cometh from the Lord who made heaven and earth. - Psalm 121:2

In me ye might have peace - John 16:33

Our Lord Jesus Christ left us another important word for us that will always be a huge and vital source of motivation during times of weakness. Mementos such that, unfortunately, we are all subject to pass:

But be of good cheer I have overcome the world. - John 16:33

The Lord Jesus is telling us that we must not kill the problems, troubles, difficulties and anxieties of life. He encourages and exhorts us to have faith, confidence, perseverance and courage during the long journey beside him.

We can never forget that we are not alone and not get anything. The Lord Jesus must always be our Lord and our greatest example of perseverance and dedication. On the walk of Jesus, Jesus did not give up. Jesus did not stop. Jesus did not come back. Jesus wept. Jesus groaned, Jesus was troubled, Jesus had severe pain. Jesus was humiliated. Jesus suffered. Jesus loved and Jesus died for us all.

With the death of our Lord Jesus Christ, what seemed like defeat becomes the path to ultimate victory and glory of the infinite love of our God for us all.

So the Lord shows us the proper way so that we have an excellent strength to endure the hardships of the trek.

Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may stand against the wiles of the devil, because it is not against flesh and blood that we wrestle, but against principalities, against powers, says the lords of this darkness, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and the breastplate of righteousness, and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, above all, taking the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God ... Ephesians 6: 10-17

Our Lord Jesus Christ is always at our side to protect us and guide us during the walk. So we should never get discouraged and quit. With perseverance we must arm ourselves with the armor of God and march toward our ultimate goal is to complete our career and receive our crown of victory from the hands of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen and Thank God.
