Rowing against the tide - evangelical messages of God's word

Rowing against the tideWinning the winds and the storms of life

45 Soon after he constrained his disciples get into the boat, and to go to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he dismissed the crowd.46 And having it dismissed, was the mountain to pray.47 Arrival in late afternoon, the boat was at sea, and he alone on the land.48 And he saw them toiling in rowing because the wind was against them, for the fourth watch of the night came to them walking on the sea, and wanted to pass by them;49 of them, however, seeing him walking upon the sea, thought it was a ghost and cried;50 they all saw him and were terrified, but he immediately spoke to them and said unto them, Be of good cheer I; fear not.51 And he went up unto them into the boat, the wind ceased: and they were in his heart, greatly amazed - Mark 6:45 to 51

Many times we go through various difficulties and we feel that we are alone. Sometimes life's challenges are so big and scary to even think about quitting.

But the word of God tells us that however much we may be struggling, however much we may be swimming against the tide and against the storms of life in our Lord says. The Lord is always watching over us. He sympathizes with us and our struggles. Amid the turmoil of life, whatever we think to be alone, our God lovingly comforts us and tells us that their holy mountain that He is watching us and that, depending on our needs at the right time, he will break withdarkness and the darkness to come to our rescue.

Therefore He says:

Be of good cheer I; fear not. - Mark 6:50

I am the Lord Jesus Christ. It is I who protect you and your keeper. It is I who delivers you from winds and storms of life. I who am always by your side: Be of good cheer I; fear not. - Mark 6:50

Amen and thank God. Stay in the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
