Prophet Elisha and the Syrian army - Gospel message of God's word

Now the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and such place shall be my camp.

And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel: Beware that thou pass not such a place because the Syrians are come down.

And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him that, and saved himself. This happened not once, not twice.

he was troubled because of this the heart of the king of Syria who called his servants, and said unto them, ye not show me which of us is the king of Israel?

And one of his servants, 'Not so, my lord the king, but the prophet Elisha who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.

And he said, Go and spy where he is, that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, Behold, he is in Dothan.

Therefore sent he thither horses and chariots and a great army, and they came by night and surrounded the city.

And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. Then the servant said unto him, Alas, my lord! What shall we do?

And he answered, Fear not: for they that are with us are more than those who are with them.

And Elisha prayed, and said: Lord, please let him open his eyes to see it. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

And when the Syrians came down to him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, and said, Smite this people with blindness, I pray thee. And he smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.

And Elisha said unto them, This is not the way, neither is this the city: follow me, and I will guide you to the man whom you seek. And he led them to Samaria.

And it came to pass, when they were come into Samaria, Elisha said, LORD, open the eyes of these so they can see.The Lord opened their eyes, and saw, and behold, they were in the midst of Samaria.

When the king of Israel saw them, he said unto Elisha them hey, I will hurt you, father?

And he said: Do not strike; feririas you have taken captive with thy sword and with thy bow? Put them on bread and water, that they may eat and drink, and go to their master.

prepared them, therefore, a great feast, and they had eaten and drunk he sent them away, and went to their master. And the Syrians withdrew troops to invade the land of Israel.2 Kings 6: 8 to 23

Our enemy does not sleep, he never tired of chasing us.Definitely it is not, as the world's people speak of feeling or terms of persecution mania, but a fact: the enemy of God and also our enemy, never tired of chasing us and want to destroy us. We must not deceive or deceiving oneself. Whenever he has a chance he will attack us.This is precisely why we, the servants of God, we must be very attentive and always grounded in the words and guidance of our God because it is through communion with our God and His word is that we will receive from us our Great God for deliverance and our deliverance from all the snares and pitfalls that this relentless enemy putting lives in our ways, our families, relationships, businesses and our lives in general.Brothers and sisters! It is precisely why we should not, much less can never get away from the teachings and guidance that exist only in life-giving and liberating Word of our God of love.On the other hand, we can not forget that we, humans, even against our will, we are continually subject to moments of weakness, disbelief and dismay. So if ever faced with difficult times or extreme anguish ever, that's right: Never! We must never lose heart or despair in the face of any problem or adversity.I know that when we or someone in our family is going through times of great difficulty is hard even we pray or talk to God. It is not easy. But our God has given us a true gift from Father to Son, who is its wonderful Holy Spirit on our side. With the Spirit of the Lord in our lives we can rest easy, for He will never abandon us. Men and women may even forget Him, but He never leaves us.When faced with a situation of suffering, desperate and utterly harrowing we have the same confidence and security that the prophet Elisha had to be surrounded on all sides by his pursuers. If we try and still fail to develop such faith as the man of God we can still do for us or someone in our family the same kind of prayer that the prophet Elisha did to that young man who walked with him.My God, Almighty in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ into our lives! Send your Holy Spirit comforter that He prays in us, that he pray for us and for our whole family, especially when we do not have strength, faith and far fewer words to turn to the Lord.Father, in the glorious name of the Lord Jesus Christ into our lives! Send your Holy Spirit that He gives us wisdom, understanding, intelligence, love, mercy, forgiveness, compassion, tolerance, patience, perseverance and especially that He will open the our physical eyes, mind and spirit so that we can definitely understand that much larger than those that are our enemies in this world dominated by sin and sin is the father of the mighty army that Heaven is on our side, which has as its supreme commander Sovereign Lord the great God and our Lord. That's what we always believe!Amen and thank God. Stay in the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ
